## How to do it

1. Set a single handle on the lowest pulley and take it in one hand.
2. Turn to face away from the stack and step forward until the cable draws your arm back behind your body.
3. Stand tall with the working arm extended behind you and your free hand on your hip.
4. Keep your upper arm still and bend your elbow to curl the handle forward and up.
5. Squeeze your biceps at the top, then lower slowly to the stretched start.
6. Finish your reps, then switch sides.

## Key cues

- Lower slowly

## Common mistakes

- Moving the upper arm so the shoulder takes over
- Standing too far from the stack
- Leaning or swaying to get the handle up
- Dropping the handle fast on the way down

## Muscles worked

- Primary: Biceps
- Secondary: Forearms

## Equipment

Cable machine and single handle.
