# Cable Crossover

> A high-pulley cable fly that trains your chest by bringing your hands together in a wide arc.

## How to do it

1. Set both pulleys high, take a D-handle in each hand and step forward between the towers.
2. Start with your arms out to the sides at about shoulder height.
3. Keep a slight bend in your elbows and hold it.
4. Sweep your hands in and down in a wide arc until they meet in front of you.
5. Return along the same arc under control.

## Key cues

- Hug a tree
- Elbows slightly bent and fixed
- Chest up
- Trunk stays still
- Slow and controlled

## Common mistakes

- Bending and straightening the elbows during the rep
- Leaning forward to finish the rep
- Using too heavy a load
- Letting the arms drop below shoulder height at the start
