# Cable Crunch

> A kneeling rope crunch on a high pulley that trains your abs against steady resistance.

## How to do it

1. Attach a rope to a high pulley and kneel a few feet back from the stack, facing it.
2. Hold the rope ends beside your head.
3. Keep your hips still and crunch by curling your ribs toward your pelvis.
4. Bring your elbows down toward your knees.
5. Return to the start under control.

## Common mistakes

- Pulling the rope down with your arms
- Shifting your hips forward
- Letting the weight stack yank you back up
- Folding at the hips instead of curling the spine
