# Hip Adduction (Cable)

> A standing cable hip adduction that pulls one leg across your body against an ankle strap, training your inner thigh.

## How to do it

1. Attach an ankle strap to the low pulley and fasten it above the ankle of the leg nearest the machine.
2. Stand side-on, a few steps away, with a slight bend in your standing knee.
3. Brace your core and keep your back straight.
4. Pull the working leg in across your body until that foot is in front of the other.
5. Return slowly, then switch legs after your reps.

- Leaning or swaying the upper body
- Locking the standing knee
- Letting the weight snap the leg back out
