# Cross Body Crunch

> A floor crunch with a twist, bringing each elbow toward the opposite knee to train your abs and obliques.

## How to do it

1. Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor.
2. Place your hands beside or behind your head with your elbows wide.
3. Lift your shoulders off the floor and twist so one elbow travels toward the opposite knee.
4. Pause briefly at the top, then lower with control.
5. Repeat to the other side, alternating or finishing one side before switching.

- Elbow reaches toward the opposite knee
- Lower back stays on the floor
- Controlled up and down

## Common mistakes

- Coming up as far as a full sit-up
- Letting the lower back leave the floor
- Overextending instead of staying facing the knee
