# EZ Bar Curl

> A standing curl with an EZ bar, whose angled grips are easier on the wrists, that trains the biceps.

## How to do it

1. Stand with your feet hip width apart, holding an EZ bar underhand on the angled sections.
2. Keep your elbows close to your sides and your upper body still.
3. Curl the bar up toward your shoulders.
4. Pause briefly at the top, then lower the bar slowly to straight arms.

- Elbows pinned near your sides
- Only your arms move
- Pause at the top, lower with control

## Common mistakes

- Swinging your body to get the bar up
- Letting your elbows drift forward or back
- Bending your wrists during the curl
