# Incline Push Up

> A push-up with your hands on a bench, an easier version that trains the chest, front delts and triceps.

## How to do it

1. Place your hands on a sturdy bench slightly wider than shoulder width and walk your feet back.
2. Brace your abs so your body is one straight line from head to heels.
3. Lower with your elbows at about 45 degrees until your chest nearly touches the bench.
4. Press back up to straight arms.

- Hips sagging or piking up
- Flaring the elbows straight out
- Stopping well short of the bench
