# Overhead Press (Kettlebell)

> A standing press of kettlebells from the rack to overhead that builds your shoulders and triceps.

## How to do it

1. Stand with feet slightly wider than shoulder width, holding the kettlebells in the rack at your shoulders.
2. Take a breath and brace your core lightly.
3. Press the bells up until your arms are straight and your upper arms are by your ears.
4. Lower the bells back to the rack under control.

## Key cues

- Chest up, stand tall
- Bells rest on the back of the forearms
- Press along a path that feels natural
- Stacked under the bells at lockout
- Control the way down

## Common mistakes

- Shrugging the shoulders up toward the ears
- Leaning back to push the bells up
- Stopping short of a full lockout
