# Low Cable Fly (Cable)

> A standing cable fly from the low pulleys that sweeps up and in to train the chest.

## How to do it

1. Set both pulleys to the lowest setting and take a handle in each hand.
2. Step forward into a staggered stance with a slight hinge at the hips and your arms down and out toward the pulleys.
3. With a soft, fixed bend in your elbows, sweep the handles up and together in front of your chest.
4. Squeeze briefly, then lower back with control.

- Control the return

## Common mistakes

- Curling the handles up by bending the elbows
- Rocking the torso to swing the handles
- Letting the handles drift up toward your face
- Snapping back to the start too fast
