# Lying Leg Curl (Single Leg)

> A one-leg machine curl lying face down that isolates your hamstrings.

## How to do it

1. Adjust the machine so its joint lines up with your knee.
2. Lie face down with the pad on the back of your shin just above the heel and hold the handles.
3. Curl the working leg as far as you can, keeping your hips pressed into the pad.
4. Lower slowly, finish your reps, then switch legs.

## Common mistakes

- Knee out of line with the machine joint
- Lifting the hips off the pad
- Cutting the curl short
