# Single Leg Seated Leg Press

> A seated leg press done one leg at a time, with the other foot flat on the floor, to train your quads, glutes and hamstrings.

## How to do it

1. Adjust the seat so your knees are at least at 90 degrees with your back flat against the support.
2. Place both feet on the plate, then take one foot off and plant it flat on the floor.
3. Grip the handles and engage your core.
4. Press the plate until your leg is nearly straight, stopping just short of lockout.
5. Lower slowly until your knee passes 90 degrees, finish your reps, then switch legs.

## Common mistakes

- Torso twisting during the press
- Knee caving in
- Lifting part of the foot off the plate
- Locking the knee out at the top
