# Sled Push

> A heavy push of a weighted sled with short driving steps that builds leg strength and conditioning.

## How to do it

1. Load the sled and stand behind it with your hands on the handles.
2. Step back so your body leans forward in one straight line from head to hips.
3. Brace your abs and keep your spine neutral.
4. Drive one foot into the ground at a time with short, powerful steps.
5. Keep the same body angle until you reach the end, then slow the sled and stand up.

## Common mistakes

- Letting the hips rise or the chest drop as you tire
- Bending and straightening the arms while pushing
