How to do it
- Stand tall with a dumbbell in each hand in front of your thighs, palms facing them.
- Keep your elbows straight or slightly bent.
- Raise both arms straight forward to shoulder height.
- Lower the dumbbells under control to the start.

- Held just off your thighs
- Arms about parallel to the floor at the top
- No swing, no hip drive
- Slow on the way down

- Picking a weight too heavy to lift cleanly
- Swinging or driving with the hips
