Single Arm Swing (Kettlebell)

A one-handed kettlebell swing that drives the bell up with your hips, training your glutes, hamstrings and back while your trunk resists the twist.

Kettlebell · Glutes, hamstrings · Hinge

How to do it

  1. Set the kettlebell a foot or two in front of you, take a wide stance and grip it with one hand.
  2. Brace your core and hike the bell back between your legs, hinging at the hips with only a slight knee bend.
  3. Drive your hips forward to swing the bell up to about chest height.
  4. Stand tall at the top with your trunk square.
  5. Let the bell fall back between your legs and repeat, then switch hands.
