Mountain Climber

A fast plank-position exercise where you drive your knees toward your chest in turn, training your abs and obliques.

How to do it

  1. Get into a plank with your hands about shoulder width apart, arms straight and back flat.
  2. Pull one knee in toward your chest, with the other leg extended behind you.
  3. Switch legs, pulling one knee out as the other comes in.
  4. Keep your hips down and run your knees in and out at a steady, fast pace.
