Seated Leg Press (Machine)

The seated leg press is a machine squat pattern that trains your quads, glutes and inner thighs by pressing a platform away.

Machine · Quads, glutes · Squat

How to do it

  1. Sit with your back and head against the pad and your feet flat on the platform, about hip width apart.
  2. Release the safety handles and straighten your legs without locking your knees.
  3. Lower the platform until your knees reach about a right angle.
  4. Press through your whole foot back to straight legs.
  5. Keep your glutes on the seat the whole way.
